THE TOWERS AT CCNY ACCOMMODATION OPTION FOR GR21 ATTENDEES
Single occupancy bedrooms are available for reservation, from apartment style living units (4 bedrooms+2bathrooms). Linens are provided.
Amenities in the building include laundry room, 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour security, wireless internet access, and an on-site ATM.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in begins Sunday, July 10 after 2:00 p.m. Guests must check-out by 12:00 noon. on Friday, July 15.
RATES: The housing rate for the 5 nights of the conference (July 10 check-in and July 15 check-out) is $360.00 including associated fees.
NOTE: According to the contract between The Towers at CCNY and the GR21 Conference, conference attendees must reserve their room directly from the GR21 Conference. Therefore you will be billed for this housing option directly by the GR21 Conference.
Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all rooms are filled.
Your credit card will be billed automatically upon application and you will receive an email confirmation to verify your reservation and payment.
Upon registering for housing at The Towers at CCNY, you confirm that 1.) You agree to the Cancellation Policy below, 2.) You agree to pay any additional costs that may arise as described in the Damages and Additional Costs to the Participants section below, 3.) You will keep the policies of The Towers at CCNY and the policies of CCNY (e.g. alcohol and illegal drugs and paraphernalia are strictly prohibited), and 4.) You will keep the policies of GR21 conference.
DAMAGES AND ADDITIONAL COSTS TO THE PARTICIPANTS:
After your stay the condition of your room will be assessed. Except for normal wear and tear, damages or state of disrepair in your room will result in further monetary costs. Lost Keys or Access cards will also result in further charges. Access cards will cost $10 and lost keys will result in $50 fee per key to cover the lock core changes.
In the event that you fail to vacate your assigned room at the conclusion of the conference you will be held liable for any costs associated with The Towers regaining possession of your room, including but not limited to costs and legal fees as well as fair value of use and occupancy.
Any personal property left in the rooms at the conclusion of the conference shall be deemed abandoned and The Towers shall have the right to discard any such abandoned property at your expense.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations made before April 30, 2016 will be charged a fee equal to $90. Those who cancel May 1-May 20, 2016 will be charged a fee equal to $180. Those who cancel May 21-June 9, 2016 will be charged a fee equal to $270. No cancellations are accepted after June 10, 2010. If you intend to cancel your reservation at The Towers you must notify the conference organizers at GR21.LOC@gmail.com with "Towers cancellation" in the subject line. Cancellation refunds can take up to two weeks to process.
